| Pic. #19 - The Raging Ekwi River - this is where I have been stopped twice, in 1996 and again in 1999. Here Craig Hightower picks his way across with staff in hand. The river has to be crossed twice, to get to the far bank to go down river about 50 metres then cross again to continue down the road. In 99 we hiked about 10 Km on a very good chunk of road before turning back. |
