| Pic# 2 - The one hour and 45 minute sailing from Port Angeles Washington brings you into the heart of downtown Victoria. This route cuts about 2 hours of super-slap riding on I-5 in favor of the much more scenic route up the Olympic Peninsula. Check they're web site for routes and sailing times. Another great route to Vancouver Island goes between Anacortes and Sidney BC (20 km north of Victoria), via Washington State Ferry. This route is longer due to stops in the San Juan Islands but the beauty and the option to get off and explore these Islands makes it attractive. |
